Quarter 1 Week 6 Learning Activity Sheets (LAS) / Worksheets SY 2024 – 2025

Learning Activity Sheets (LAS) or worksheets such as these Quarter 1 Week 6 Learning Activity Sheets (LAS) / Worksheets SY 2024 – 2025 offer a versatile resource for teachers to enhance learning. While traditional teaching often relies on textbooks and teacher-centered methods, this can lead to tedious and uninspiring lessons. As a result, many students lose interest, showing a lack of curiosity and enthusiasm in class. Teachers often stick to familiar materials due to challenges in developing new resources that meet the diverse needs of their students.

To address this, using Learning Activity Sheets (LAS) designed to match the specific conditions and learning situations of students can make education more engaging and effective. These worksheets, especially when based on multiple representations can significantly improve students’ creative thinking abilities. Multiple representations involve presenting the same concept in various formats such as verbally, graphically and numerically. This approach not only makes learning more meaningful but also encourages students to take an active role in their education.

A learning model based on multiple representations consists of four key phases: orientation, exploration-imagination, internalization and evaluation. In the orientation phase, teachers introduce the topic using engaging media like images or videos to capture students’ attention. During the exploration-imagination phase, students independently seek information through various sources including the internet or textbooks after the teacher introduces the concept. The internalization phase involves students completing tasks that allow them to apply what they’ve learned. Finally, in the evaluation phase, teachers provide feedback on students’ performance, reinforcing the overall learning process.

This method encourages students to think creatively by applying their imagination to solve problems. By incorporating Learning Activity Sheets (LAS) based on multiple representations, teachers can optimize the learning experience and improve students’ creative thinking skills. Understanding the effectiveness of this approach is essential to fully realize its benefits in enhancing student engagement and creativity.
