Contents of Grade 8 Quarter 2 Week 3 Learning Activity Sheets

Mathematics. This week emphasizes volume of three-dimensional solids beginning with cubes then extending to pyramids. Learners solve problems perform cut-out activities and derive formulas through hands-on problem solving.

Science. The Science LAS covers isotopes and atomic mass requiring students to draw isotopes calculate atomic masses from relative abundance and apply concepts to real-world situations.

Music and Arts. Learners examine traditional Asian folk arts and creative trends. Activities include crossword puzzles visual identification analysis of performances and synthesis tasks that compare art forms such as Chinese brush painting Japanese woodblock and Indonesian wayang kulit.

TLE. The focus is on Republic Act 10654 and fisheries in the Philippines. Students answer fill-in-the-blank exercises match fish species in English and local names and review aquaculture practices.

PE and Health. Lessons highlight the concept of loving and unloving touch personal boundaries and open communication. Activities guide students in reflecting on their experiences and promoting respect and safety.

Values Education. Students reflect on the role of family values analyzing poems like Children Learn What They Live. They identify positive family influences and articulate personal experiences on the importance of love respect and guidance.
