The Grade 5 Daily Lesson Log Quarter 2 (DLL) is a vital instructional framework that supports teachers in delivering lessons aligned with the DepEd MATATAG Curriculum. At this stage, learners are expected to demonstrate higher-order thinking skills, apply mathematical and scientific concepts to everyday contexts and participate actively in meaningful discussions. The DLL ensures that competencies are systematically covered while giving teachers structured flexibility to contextualize lessons based on learners’ needs and classroom realities.

By Quarter 2, Grade 5 students are challenged to go beyond foundational knowledge.
