This week’s exemplar strengthens academic understanding while promoting social awareness, environmental care and physical well-being.

Learning Objectives

By the end of the week, learners are expected to:

  • Explain the elements that define a country and describe the importance of sovereignty and unity in Araling Panlipunan.
  • Demonstrate acts of compassion and cooperation in GMRC through practical family and community experiences.
  • Recognize the physical and emotional changes that occur during puberty and apply proper self-care in EPP.
  • Understand the concept of safe and healthy eating and participate in rhythmic activities that promote active living in PE and Health.
  • Identify rigid and soft objects and describe how forces can cause motion or change in Science.
  • Appreciate local legends and identify the properties of sound, visual art, theater, and dance in Music and Arts.
  • Express ideas fluently and analyze stories and texts in English using comprehension and vocabulary-building activities.
  • Use correct grammar and reading comprehension skills to understand local stories in Filipino that highlight cultural pride and moral lessons.

Grade 4 Quarter 3 Week 1 Key Learning Areas and Focus

  • In Araling Panlipunan, pupils learn the four elements of nationhood—people, territory, government and sovereignty through the lesson “Ang Pilipinas Bilang Isang Bansa.”
  • GMRC focuses on the virtue of malasakit or compassion, helping pupils understand how empathy strengthens family and community ties.
  • EPP introduces the importance of cleanliness, proper grooming, and self-discipline during adolescence.
