Grade 4 3rd Quarter Instructional Flow and Lesson Design Framework
Instruction follows a consistent learner-centered flow. Teachers activate prior knowledge through short games, photos, or songs. Concept exploration uses Think-Pair-Share, station rotations, concept mapping and guided reading. Hands-on inquiry features experiments on force and heat, graphing motion data and fair tests. Application and integration include writing letters of empathy, dramatizing government roles, cooking or cleaning demonstrations and cultural performances. Reflection through journals and sharing circles helps learners connect knowledge with values like discipline, humility and cooperation. Many lessons adopt the 5Es sequence—Engage, Explore, Explain, Elaborate, Evaluate—to ensure clarity and progression.
