The Grade 4 Daily Lesson Log Quarter 2 (DLL) provides a structured instructional framework that bridges foundational skills with more advanced learning. At this stage, learners are expected to demonstrate stronger analytical thinking, apply knowledge in real-life contexts and show greater independence in their studies. The DLL ensures that lessons are logically sequenced, competencies are systematically addressed and instruction remains fully aligned with the DepEd MATATAG Curriculum. By guiding lesson planning across all subject areas, it supports both academic growth and values formation making it an indispensable tool for effective instruction in Quarter 2.
Unlike simple planning forms, the DLL is designed to enhance purposeful teaching. It allows teachers to integrate competencies across disciplines, balance foundational and higher-order skills and ensure lessons remain engaging and inclusive from Week 1 to Week 8 of Quarter 2.
