Learners practice using context clues, discourse markers and forming logical conclusions.
In Filipino, learners explore disaster preparedness through stories and guided questions. Tasks include identifying vocabulary, answering comprehension questions about Ezra and his family preparing for a storm and reflecting on proper responses to emergencies.

Makabansa lessons focus on valuing community services. Learners write thank-you letters for health workers and create drawings to honor safety providers like police officers and firefighters.
