The Grade 3 Quarter 2 Week 5 Daily Lesson Log (DLL) is designed to guide teachers with structured lessons across all learning areas. These ready-to-use resources align with the MATATAG Curriculum and support effective lesson planning with clear goals and practical teaching strategies.
Lessons inside Grade 3 Quarter 2 Week 5 Daily Lesson Log
English. This week’s English lessons highlight beginning literacy skills. Learners practice listening comprehension, retelling events in sequence and using verbs in the simple present tense. Through stories and guided activities they sharpen their ability to note details, organize ideas and express actions accurately.
Mathematics. Mathematics focuses on multiplication. Pupils perform mental multiplication of two-digit by one-digit numbers and apply these skills in solving both routine and real-life problems involving money. These activities help children connect computation with everyday situations and strengthen problem-solving strategies.
Filipino. In Filipino, learners expand vocabulary through recognizing rhyming words. Reading poems and short texts with correct tone and expression builds fluency and develops appreciation for rhythm in language.
Araling Panlipunan. (MELC DLL) Araling Panlipunan lessons explore the meaning of provincial and regional symbols. Learners analyze official seals of different provinces and explain the significance of cultural and historical icons that represent local identity.
Science. Science classes focus on comparing living and nonliving things while identifying traits inherited from parents to offspring. Learners observe, classify and describe physical characteristics passed on among humans, animals and plants.
ESP. EsP emphasizes empathy and respect for persons with disabilities. Pupils engage in activities that highlight inclusion, cooperation and kindness in school and community life.
MAPEH. MAPEH integrates music, arts, physical education and health. Lessons cover musical lines, creating tints and shades in art, body movements in space and direction and practices that prevent common diseases.
