GRADE 3 (Matatag Soon) – 1st Periodical Tests with TOS | SY 2024 – 2025

Classroom evaluation methods offer several advantages for both teachers and students. They help teachers get feedback on how well students are learning while the teaching and learning process is ongoing. By using these assessments, teachers can focus more effectively on student learning.

Classroom assessments allow teachers to adjust their lessons based on what students have understood and what they still find confusing. This means they can spend less time on topics students grasp quickly and dive deeper into areas where students need more help. With continuous assessment, teachers can make immediate changes to improve student learning.

Even if students are reluctant to speak up in class, classroom assessments give them a chance to provide anonymous feedback about their learning. This feedback helps teachers understand what adjustments might be necessary.

Assessment activities can also be designed to enhance writing and critical thinking skills rather than merely testing them. These activities can make learning more engaging and encourage students to take their education seriously. For example, students might discover interesting information they missed during lessons which can increase their involvement in class.

Active participation in class often leads to greater independence and motivation in students. When students are more engaged, they are likely to be more motivated to complete their coursework and become better learners.
