The Grade 2 Quarter 3 Week 1 Daily Lesson Logs (DLLs) provides a meaningful start to the 3rd quarter by combining language development, moral formation and practical life skills. GMRC: Demonstrate wastong paraan ng pakikipagkapuwa and accountability through stories and reflective activities that nurture empathy and kindness.

Makabansa: Understand community livelihoods, identify agricultural activities and appreciate the importance of farmers and workers who serve the community.

Teaching Procedures

The DLL follows the standard structure of pre-lesson, lesson proper and post-lesson activities.

  • Motivation and Review: Teachers begin with songs, chants, or short games (e.g., “Magtanim ay ’Di Biro,” rhyme games, or “Bring Me” activities) to activate prior knowledge.
  • Guided Learning: Teachers use flashcards, story visuals, and role-play to introduce new concepts—such as community helpers, pictograph construction, or moral choices.
  • Collaborative Practice: Group tasks like charades of occupations or pictograph creation encourage communication and teamwork.
  • Assessment and Reflection: Learners demonstrate understanding through activity sheets, oral recitations and reflection sharing, guided by formative questioning techniques.
