Contents of Grade 10 Quarter 2 Week 6 Daily Lesson Logs
English. Learners strengthen their communicative competence through lessons on modals, conjunctions and the use of active and passive voice. Activities include reading comprehension and tasks modeled after international assessments to deepen analytical and writing skills.
Filipino. Students explore world literature through the translated novel Ang Matanda at ang Dagat. Competencies focus on literary analysis, use of critical approaches and crafting written critiques that highlight appreciation of cultural values and human resilience.
Araling Panlipunan. The focus is on global migration and its implications. Learners analyze its causes, effects on communities and connections to globalization while also creating outputs like reaction papers and visual projects that foster socio-economic awareness.
ESP (Values Education). Lessons emphasize the stages of human action highlighting deliberation of intellect and will in decision-making. Learners evaluate their personal choices, reflect on moral responsibility and design action plans to guide future decisions.
Mathematics. This week covers tangents and secants of circles. Students apply theorems in solving problems, practice constructing proofs and link geometric principles to real-world contexts like design and engineering.
Science. The topic centers on the electromagnetic spectrum. Learners trace its development, compare wavelengths and examine applications in technology and daily life while considering both benefits and possible risks.
MAPEH 10 (Arts and PE). In Arts students explore technology-based production and 21st-century expressions while PE focuses on lifestyle and weight management. Both strands encourage creativity, healthy living and personal growth.
TLE – Cookery. Learners practice safe and hygienic ways of storing salads and dressings. Emphasis is placed on food quality, sanitation and the practical application of culinary skills for future livelihood opportunities.
