The Grade 1 Quarter 2 Week 6 Daily Lesson Log (DLL) provides teachers with well-structured guides that ensure learners receive meaningful lessons across core subjects. Lessons Inside Grade 1 Quarter 2 Week 6 Daily Lesson Logs
In Language, pupils deepen their ability to compare and contrast everyday school-related topics. They learn to use high-frequency words, recognize icons and symbols in texts and confidently express ideas while exploring printed and digital resources.
In Reading and Literacy, the focus is on decoding sounds, reading high-frequency words and making sense of informational texts. Learners practice writing legibly, identifying naming and describing words and recognizing parts of a book while exploring cultural practices and religious traditions.
For Mathematics, learners strengthen their addition skills with sums up to 100. Using concrete models and place value strategies they solve problems, explore expanded forms and practice both horizontal and vertical addition to build number fluency.
In Makabansa, the week emphasizes family roles and responsibilities. Learners express these through songs, short dramatizations and creative activities that build appreciation of family relationships and Filipino culture.
In GMRC, values formation is centered on cleanliness at home. Learners understand the importance of maintaining a clean environment and apply this in real-life settings such as helping with household chores and proper waste management.
