Overview of Grade 4 Quarter 3 Week 2 Learning Activity Sheets

The Learning Activity Sheets under the MATATAG Curriculum are designed to help learners strengthen both foundational and higher-order thinking skills through real-life and contextualized activities. The lessons in each Grade 4 Quarter 3 Week 2 Learning Activity Sheets subject integrate performance-based tasks that encourage observation, creativity, responsibility and values formation.

Assessment Objectives for Each Subject

Filipino 4 – Learners write a Liham Pangkaibigan (Pakikiramay) to express sympathy while applying correct structure and tone in letter writing. They also construct hug­nayang pangungusap, reinforcing grammatical competence and empathy in communication.

Mathematics 4 – Week 2 focuses on Multiples, Factors and Equivalent Fractions. Pupils identify multiples up to 100, use these to determine equivalent fractions and find factors of numbers, strengthening numerical fluency and analytical reasoning.

Science 4 – Learners investigate Force Exerted by a Magnet, distinguishing between magnetic and non-magnetic materials and observing attraction and repulsion. The activity encourages exploration and application of scientific inquiry skills through hands-on experiments.

Araling Panlipunan 4 – The lesson on Ang Pamahalaang Pambansa develops civic understanding. Pupils identify the structure, powers and functions of the executive, legislative, and judiciary branches while reflecting on the value of active citizenship.

EPP 4 – The focus is on Pagkilos, Pangangalaga, at mga Kagamitang Pansarili sa Panahon ng Pagdadalaga at Pagbibinata. Activities guide students on hygiene, posture and proper grooming, instilling discipline and self-confidence during adolescence.

GMRC 4 – Pupils reflect on Pagtupad ng Tungkulin ng Pamilya sa Kapuwa, fostering compassion, humility and cooperation. They evaluate moral actions and practice empathy through scenario-based tasks and reflection journals.

Music and Arts 4 – The theme Legends and Folklore of the Province integrates creativity and cultural pride. Learners apply musical and artistic elements through sound effects and costume design, connecting folklore with artistic expression.

PE and Health 4 – Lessons center on Safe and Healthy Eating, where students learn food safety, nutrition labels and the 4C’s of hygiene (Clean, Cook, Chill, Cross-contamination), linking physical wellness with responsible habits.
