The Grade 10 Quarter 2 Week 4 Daily Lesson Log (DLL) provides teachers with structured guidance to deliver effective lesson planning across all subject areas. This week’s competencies reflect the MATATAG Curriculum standards and focus on deepening both knowledge and application through varied teaching strategies.
What’s in the Grade 9 Quarter 2 Week 4 Daily Lesson Logs?
In English, learners analyze how literature serves as a means of resolving conflicts while developing skills in formulating claims of fact, policy and value. This enhances their ability to support arguments with evidence and present ideas through structured speeches.
For Mathematics, the lessons highlight proving theorems on chords, arcs and angles in circles, moving forward to identifying tangents and secants. Students connect geometric principles to real-life problem solving, strengthening both logical reasoning and analytical skills.
In Science, learners explore the electromagnetic spectrum by examining radio waves, infrared, ultraviolet radiation, visible light and gamma rays. The focus lies on understanding their properties, effects and applications to everyday life.
The Araling Panlipunan component addresses globalization and labor issues, guiding students to analyze workers’ conditions, subcontracting practices and the broader economic challenges in society.
MAPEH integrates creative and practical competencies. In Arts, students use technology-based tools to create digital artworks. The Health component emphasizes awareness of national health-related laws including the Consumer Act, Reproductive Health Act and Dangerous Drugs Act.
Lastly, TLE Cookery sharpens practical kitchen skills with lessons on preparing, thawing and washing vegetables while applying proper mise en place techniques.
